Volunteer Opportunities

This is a web page designed to announce volunteer opportunities within the genealogical community. ICAPGen makes this page available to genealogists as a community service. ICAPGen reserves the right to screen all submissions and post only those that meet certain criteria, as determined by the ICAPGen Board.

If you would like us to consider a volunteer opportunity for posting on our website, please send us an email: information@icapgen.org.

ICAPGen is always looking for volunteers to help us with various responsibilities. If you would like to volunteer with ICAPGen, please email us and let us know!

FamilySearch Indexing is a great way to serve the genealogical community by indexing genealogical records and making them available to other researchers. Volunteer at www.familysearchindexing.org.

The Children's Service Society of Utah is looking for volunters to scan documents to help preserve their onsite collection of records. Time period of records: 1884-current. Content of records: foster care, court records, adoptions, day to day books, accounts, etc. Access limitation governed by 100-year privacy laws. Content 1884-1910 is now in the public domain.
