Liv Marit Haakenstad, AG®, AGL™ has a Master in Nonfiction writing. She is a freelance writer, researcher and international lecturer specializing in Norwegian research, transmigration, emigration, and forensic genealogy. With over 45 years’ experience she offers workshops, seminars and specialty genealogy tours.  She consults for several TV-shows, including Norwegian “Anno” and “Who Do you Think You Are?” BBC and Canada.  Haakenstad is also a RootsTech speaker for several years. She has written ten books on Norwegian genealogy, the latest in English.
