Michael W. McCormick is Senior Genealogist and Owner/Manager at Family Line Investigations LLC, as well as an online instructor for BYU-Idaho’s associate’s degree in Family History Research. Family Line Investigations specializes in a broad range of traditional and forensic genealogy services.
Experienced in domestic and international cases, our team is headquartered near the Family History Library (Utah). Beyond what is available locally, we are experienced in obtaining records via agents throughout North America and Europe. We conduct research in several languages such as German, Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, Hungarian, and Scandinavian languages. We do everything from solving brick-wall or immigrant ancestor research problems to forensic genealogy services such as determining next-of-kin. Our researchers all have advanced qualifications such as genealogical credentials, certificates, and university degrees. Our clients include private individuals, attorneys, fiduciaries, estate administrators, and other research firms who frequently entrust our experienced team as subcontractors.
