Paula A. Faccio was born in Venezuela to an Italian family. She has received an accreditation in Italian genealogical research from the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen℠). She has earned a degree in Psychology from Rafael Urdaneta University in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and a Certification as a Handwriting Analysis Expert and Grapho-therapist from the Handwriting University International (HUI). She is also an Authorized Mentor in the HUI and a Trainer in Champs International. She has been a full-time Genealogy Professional Researcher with extended experience in Italian and Venezuelan research since 1988, American and Brazilian research since 2010, and many other Spanish speaking countries since 2012. She has served as a Family History Consultant for almost fifteen years; as a Patron Research Assistant in the Family History Library, in Salt Lake City, Utah; as an Arbitrator and Indexer in the FamilySearch Indexing project; as an Extractor in the Immigrant Ancestors Project of Brigham Young University; and as an Instructor in the National Archive in Venezuela. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English. She can also understand Portuguese, read Latin and French, and, is currently learning Korean.
