I became an accredited genealogist in June of 2013.  My maternal grandmother was 100% Irish descending from grandparents who immigrated to Prince Edward Island, Canada from County Monaghan, Ireland during the 1840’s.  Since becoming accredited, I have been working for those who are lucky enough to have Irish ancestry and who are interested in learning the story of the their grandparents and great grandparents.  I also teach research classes at the Cedar City Utah Family History Center as well as assist those who are seeking help with building their trees and breaking through break walls in their research.

I am a graduate of American River Junior College in Sacramento, California and Southern Utah University with a degree in Elementary Education.  After 18 years as a public school teacher, I decided to leave the profession and begin anew by becoming an accredited genealogist.

I am the mother of five wonderful children and have been married for 45 years to a great man who has been my friend and constant support.
