Ryan Jordan, Ph.D., AG®
Ryan Jordan is an accredited genealogist currently living in Mexico City, where he conducts archival research for clients. His past client projects have helped connect cousins and preserve family stories from several different Mexican states. Ryan also shares an interest in genealogy education, and has presented at multiple conferences on the topic.
Originally trained as an academic historian, Ryan teaches history online for National University in La Jolla, CA. His teaching and research interests have included 18th and 19th century US history, as well as the history of California. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Princeton University (2004), as well as a B.A in History from UCLA (1998). Ryan has previously taught US history at Lafayette College, the University of California-San Diego, and the University of San Diego.
