Tanner Blair Tolman, AG®

Tanner Tolman is accredited for research in the Denmark Region. Tanner became interested in genealogy at a young age. At the age of 12 he used PAF to created a massive descendancy chart for Adam and Eve, linking them to figures such as Moses, Abraham, and Christ. From September 2010- October 2012, he served an LDS mission to Denmark and became fluent in Danish. After returning home, Tanner gained employment as a U.S. and Scandinavian researcher at PriceGenealogy and also started his Bachelors degree at BYU in January 2013. Tanner spent two years completing his generals and then formally joined the Family History & Genealogy program, where he emphasized in Danish research but also gained experience in colonial U.S., British, Dutch, and Italian research. Tanner spent his final semester completing an internship as a research specialist on the Nordic team at the SLC Family History Library where he prepared a class on Danish cadastral lists as his final project. Tanner graduated in August 2017 and immediately began writing his four generation project for ICAPGen. He submitted in January 2018 and officially became an Accredited Genealogist through ICAPGen in April 2018.
