Michele Simmons Lewis, is a genetic genealogist committed to helping adoptees find their biological families using the latest research and technology. She also enjoys assisting with lineage society applications and lineages submitted to the Cherokee Nation. Michele has been conducting research for over 30 years and is accredited in the southeast region which includes Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. She is also a board-certified genealogist though the Board for Certification of Genealogists in Washington DC. Her education includes courses through Brigham Young University, the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, and the National Institute for Genealogical Studies.
