Evan Christensen is accredited for research in Mexico. Evan graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology. While studying as an undergraduate, he was captivated by the family history classes offered alongside his classes in genetics and molecular biology. He focused his family history course work on Spanish language research. He topped off his BYU experience by completing a two-month genealogical research internship in Spain under the tutelage of Professor George Ryskamp, JD, AG®. In addition to this trip, he has done other research trips to Mexico and Colombia as well.
He is fluent in both written and oral Spanish and can also read genealogical documents in Portuguese, Italian, and French. He is a member of various genealogical societies. He is most active in the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America – Utah Chapter, the largest Hispanic genealogical society in the United States.
