Melody Daisson, AG®
Melody Daisson is accredited for research in the United States Southeast. Her areas of expertise include Southern Colonial Research, Southern States Civil War Era research, and research in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina 1763-1940. She specializes in solving brick walls and untangling incorrect online family trees through evidence analysis.
Melody is an online instructor at BYU-Idaho where she teaches evidence analysis courses.
Melody has extensive curriculum writing experience. She wrote the curriculum for the ICAPGen Level 1 Study Group, training curriculum for FamilySearch, and Southern and African American Research modules for a BYU-Idaho course.
She is a contracted researcher at Family Locket Genealogists and Legacy Tree Genealogists.
Melody uses her organization and leadership skills to build and efficiently manage teams for genealogical organizations and businesses. Melody served as a Historical Records Assistant for FamilySearch online support and is currently serving as a study group leader for ICAPGen.
